The Tokyo Marui MP7A1 is a compact gas-blowback SMG using a dedicated 16 mm piston system. With the stock collapsed it measures about 381 mm, extending to roughly 586 mm, while the 146 mm inner barrel keeps the package suited to close-range use.
The MP7A1 uses a 40-round magazine, adjustable hop-up and selectable semi-automatic or full-automatic fire. Its mixed polymer-and-metal construction results in a weight of about 2.2 kg.
