Overview

The Tectonic Innovations QU4KE is the compact multi-shot sibling to the QU8KE, using a manually indexed base with three live .209 primer positions plus a separate SAFE position. It uses the same impact-operated stainless-steel plunger/firing-pin concept and aluminium-alloy multi-shot base, providing several deployments before a full reload while taking up less capacity than the seven-shot QU8KE. Airsoft DB records it separately because shot capacity is one of the most useful practical differences when comparing reusable BFGs.

UK site notes

Impact device best suited to hard surfaces; soft ground can reduce impact reliability. Follow the venue's BFG, throwing and primer rules.

Research notes

Current UK retailer listings describe QU4KE as the three-shot + SAFE version alongside the seven-shot QU8KE. Airsoft DB records it separately because its lower capacity and more compact concept make it a distinct comparison option. Audit 2026-10-14: Exact Super5ives QU4KE pages could not be retrieved (403). Other retailer Quake-family descriptions corroborate three .209 positions plus SAFE, but do not clearly assign separate dimensions/mass to QU4KE. QU8KE measurements were not copied to QU4KE. Existing numerical unknowns retained; this pass does not newly verify the current market-status claim. Sources: https://www.titanforgeairsoft.com/products/tectonic-quake-8-way-impact-grenade ; https://www.b-sas.co.uk/product-page/quake-8-impact-grenade Audit scope: technical specifications and source suitability; existing prices and legal commentary were not re-verified. Unfilled numeric 0 means unknown, except impact delay 0 denotes immediate activation.
