Overview

The Alpha-Tec HEX Gen.2 Multi-Shot Impact BFG is a reusable impact blank-firing/training device. Airsoft DB records this model separately where its operating system, capacity or market history is meaningfully distinct from other BFGs. Specifications below are limited to values supported by the cited sources; unknown dimensions, timings or compatibility details are intentionally left blank.

UK site notes

Legacy multi-shot CQB BFG. Historical reports describe early reliability issues; Gen.2 incorporated a thicker side wall and revised firing pin.

Research notes

Archived retailer data confirms six-shot capacity and .209/9mm compatibility. Contemporary community evidence indicates Alpha-Tec production had ceased by around 2020, so the model is recorded as discontinued. Audit 2026-10-14: Exact Gen.2 retailer page reconfirms six-shot base and .209/9 mm compatibility, with revised side wall and firing pin. It gives no numerical mass, dimensions or precise materials/safety specification, so these gaps remain. The page is sold out; this alone does not establish discontinuation. Existing discontinued status is retained from earlier historical research, not independently re-established by this pass. Source: https://fubarbundy.co.uk/products/alpha-tec-hex-multishot-grenade-gen2 Audit scope: technical specifications and source suitability; existing prices and legal commentary were not re-verified. Unfilled numeric 0 means unknown, except impact delay 0 denotes immediate activation.
